Water heater replacement
Water heater replacement for Chandler and Tyler homes
Replacement is quoted per job, with the process explained before the work starts. Licensed and insured, family-owned in Chandler since 2005.
Chapter 01
Repair, or time for a new tank
A water heater usually gives notice before it quits. Rust-colored water, moisture or a puddle around the base, a tank that cannot keep up with the showers in your house, and popping or rumbling from inside the tank are the common signs.
Age counts too. A leak at a fitting or a valve can often be repaired, but a leak from the tank itself means the tank is finished, and the sooner it comes out the less water ends up on the closet floor. Call (903) 849-2393 and tell us what you are seeing, and we can talk through whether replacement or a repair is the sensible path.

From the old tank to a closet ready for the new one
A replacement starts with the plan said out loud. Kelly Fromm, a homeowner in the Tyler area, wrote that the team was “clearly explaining the process before swiftly completing the job.” Her review carries photos of the work: the old water heater, the empty closet after removal, and the new unit in place.
With the old tank out, the closet is checked before anything new goes in: the drain pan, the water lines and the shutoff valve. The new unit is set and connected, filled with water before power or gas is turned on, then brought up and checked.
The line lettered on the Artesian van in 2009 was “Fix it the first time.” On a water heater job that means the connections, the pan and the valve are looked over before the crew leaves, not after your next call. The shop is in Chandler, and the work reaches homes in Tyler too.
Chapter 03
A quote worth comparing, and a crew that stays to check
Replacement is quoted per job, since the tank, the closet and the connections differ from house to house.
Here is how it went for one customer, in her own numbers. Kelly Fromm was quoted $3,100 to replace an electric water heater by a company she had used before. Two other local companies told her their quotes would align with $3,100, and one of them proposed an $89 fee just for providing the quote. She chose Artesian at $1,750 and wrote, “They weren't the cheapest, but their quote was consistent with others who reached out to me.” That is her experience on her job, not a price list.
She picked Artesian “for their professionalism and licensed status,” and explained why she only hires licensed contractors: “using an unlicensed contractor can lead to insurance claims being denied by your homeowner's insurance if issues arise from their work.” Artesian Plumbing is licensed and insured. She also noted that “they stayed for 10-15 minutes after to make sure no issues!” To ask about your own heater, call (903) 849-2393, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
